Zeb started rapping in 1988. He was never very good at it but he credits hip hop culture with teaching him about, and inspiring him to persue a career in, the music business. In 1997 he realized his desire to be a beat maker and producer and in 2003 began his transition into engineering. In 2005 he began working at Momentum Studios in SE Portland and by 2007 was the head engineer. By 2009 he'd taken over ownership and added the responsibilty of overseeing and maintaining all day to day operations. In 2010 Momentum moved to their brand new location in SW Portland and it is there that Zeb continues to run the studio 24/7/365 (except during football season where we observe the holy football Sunday... and Monday... and sometimes Thursday).

 

We do every kind of music from hip hop to folk, from EDM to jazz and rock and everything in between. We do voiceovers, commercials, interviews, audio books, podcasts and anything else you can think of. With the help of our neighbor across the river Portland Underground Recordings we are certain no audio task should ever go incompleted.
