Recording
If you want to make a song that people are going to listen to at some point you're going to have to record it. Right now we're running a Blue Baby Bottle microphone through a Focusrite ISA One preamp and then through the vintage sound of the FMR Audio RNC 1773 compressor, into our brand new Soundraft Signautre 22 MTK mixing console, combining the best of both analog and digital sound.
Mixing
Once your song is recorded, if you want people to take it seriously, we're going to have to mix it. We'll make sure those 808s boom and that snare drum cracks and your vocals sit in the pocket like they were born to live there.
Mastering
So now you've mixed down your album to the point where you're ready to give it to the world. Let's make sure that low end is fat and warm like I know you like it and let's make sure that high end is crisp and bright like a sunny Sunday morning in June. Some call it the "gloss".
